Senior Quantitative Developer - Systematic Equities | Dubai
Looking for a Senior Quant Developer to join a high-performing systematic equities pod. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of research and engineering - building models, collaborating directly with PMs and senior traders, and deploying strategies into production.
This position is to join a newer pod, the right candidate will have the chance to be at the forefront of development and act as the intersection between the pod and the firms overall infrastructure. This position offers a high amount of autonomy and potential managerial responsibilities.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement research infrastructure for alpha generation and portfolio construction.
- Work closely with PMs and traders to translate ideas into scalable, production-ready models.
- Build and maintain tools for signal research, backtesting, and execution.
- Optimise performance, data pipelines, and model deployment workflows.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a systematic equities or quant trading environment.
- Strong programming skills in Python (plus C++/C# for performance-critical components).
- Deep understanding of alpha modelling, portfolio construction, and execution workflows.
- Proven ability to work closely with investment teams and drive research into production.
