Investment Associate
We are currently partnering with a venture capital firm in Singapore that is seeking an Investment Associate to join their team.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership across the full investment lifecycle - from sourcing and execution to portfolio management and investor engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through market, sector, and company research.
- Lead deal sourcing and due diligence across commercial, financial, technological, and risk-related areas.
- Build financial models and prepare investment materials for internal discussions and decision-making.
- Manage the deal pipeline and coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure smooth execution.
- Support portfolio companies on value‑creation projects and assist with investor reporting and portfolio monitoring.
- Contribute to the enhancement of internal tools, processes, and overall investment capabilities.
Requirements:
- At least 4-8 years of experience in venture capital, venture building, or related investment functions.
- Prior exposure to technology‑related sectors, including fintech, insurtech, or healthtech.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including financial modelling, valuation, and investment assessment, with the ability to form independent, data‑driven conclusions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support internal decision‑making and engage stakeholders effectively.
