Position Overview
The Head of Product Strategy will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision for the small commercial segment. Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management & Financial Oversight

Strategic Product Leadership
- Define and evolve the product portfolio to meet changing market demands

- Balance coverage design, pricing, and underwriting to support business goals
Roadmap Execution & Innovation
- Drive development of new products and enhancements to existing offerings
- Prioritize features based on agent feedback, customer insights, and competitive analysis
- Ensure seamless implementation in partnership with IT and compliance teams
Data & Analytics
- Build and maintain reporting tools to monitor performance and guide strategy
- Leverage predictive analytics to uncover trends and inform product evolution
- Act as the segment's liaison to enterprise data teams
Market Intelligence & Positioning
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activity
- Conduct market analysis to ensure differentiation and relevance
- Align product strategies with agent and customer expectations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with underwriting, operations, distribution, and executive leadership
- Support automation and digital enablement efforts
- Ensure product initiatives are integrated across business functions
Team Leadership & Development
- Build and lead a high-performing product team
- Manage hiring, performance, development, and succession planning
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure all products meet regulatory standards and internal risk frameworks
- Partner with legal and compliance to manage state and federal requirements
Change Management & Optimization
- Champion continuous improvement across product practices
- Drive adoption of new technologies and agile methodologies
- Lead change initiatives with clarity and stakeholder engagement
Candidate Profile
- 12+ years in product management, ideally within insurance or financial services
- 8+ years in leadership roles
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (MBA preferred)
- Professional designations such as CPCU are a plus
