Investment Banking Vice President - Specialty Finance
This client is a high growth Investment Bank looking to bring a VP onto their FIG team. This candidate will work hand in hand with the MD on the team that focuses on advising specialty lending, financial services, asset based credit, and financial technology focused transactions. This role offers the opportunity to take on a ton of responsibility and ownership while working on transactions, along with valuable mentorship from a top leader in the space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead deal execution across M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments within specialty finance and asset-based credit markets.
- Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and stakeholders.
- Oversee financial modeling, valuation analyses, and due diligence processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Mentor and develop junior bankers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of investment banking experience, with at least 2 years at VP level.
- Strong track record in specialty finance and asset-based credit transactions.
- Deep understanding of financial services industry dynamics, regulatory environment, and capital markets.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred; CFA designation a plus.
