What You'll Do

• Manage and resolve claims for engineering contracts based on HOAI, including negotiations and dispute handling.
• Draft, review, and adjust contracts in line with HOAI and German contract law.
• Advise on fees and costs, support forecasting and cost control throughout project lifecycles.
• Act as a key contact for resolving contractual disputes.
• Ensure thorough documentation and reporting for internal and legal purposes.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, legal departments, and external partners.
• Share best practices and contribute to knowledge transfer across teams.

What We're Looking For

• A degree in law, construction management, commercial law, architecture, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in contract and/or claims management, ideally with HOAI exposure.
• Strong knowledge of German contract law, especially HOAI and BGB.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Fluent in German and English (C1 level minimum).
