Sr. Internal Audit Manager - Manufacturing

Our client:
A global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join its Group Internal Audit team. This person would ideally become a Team Lead within 12-18 months, after proper onboarding and learning the industry. The organization operates across multiple regions and industries, offering a dynamic and diverse working environment.

Position: Senior Internal Auditor (all genders)
Location: Zürich (hybrid, 3-4 days/week in the office)
Estimated Salary: 125.000-145.000 CHF* + 10% bonus
Hours: Full-time - 40 hours/week
Languages: Fluent English (C1); Spanish is a plus
Travel: Approx. 20-40% internationally

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute audits across operational, financial, and IT domains
  • Conduct audits in various international locations across Europe, the Americas, and Asia
  • Draft clear and concise audit reports and present findings to senior stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business units and senior management
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations
  • Support internal investigations and contribute to cross-functional projects
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned business processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the audit function, including technology adoption
  • Participate in assurance committee meetings with cross-functional teams

Profile Requirements

  • The legal right to work and live in Switzerland without sponsorship
  • Fluent English (C1+); fluent Spanish (C1+) is advantageous
  • University degree or equivalent qualification in business, finance, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CISA are advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in internal or external audit
  • Solid understanding of internal controls, compliance, and enterprise risk management
  • Experience in a multinational environment, ideally within manufacturing or supply chain
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with Internal Control System (ICS), Compliance or Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is a major plus
  • Curious and proactive mindset
