About the Role

A dynamic financial technology company is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic compliance initiatives and foster a culture of regulatory awareness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the company's compliance strategy and documentation.
• Support the development of compliance manuals, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact.
• Oversee prudential regulations relevant to compliance.
• Deliver training and guidance to employees on applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and manage the outsourcing oversight function in line with internal policies.
• Prepare regular reports for executive and supervisory boards.
• Engage in professional development to become a certified compliance expert (e.g., ACAMS, CISI).

Candidate Profile

• Strong academic background, ideally with compliance or legal qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, consultancy, auditing, or financial supervision.
• Strong understanding of German and EU regulatory frameworks.
• Strategic thinker with resilience and analytical capabilities.
• Fluent in German and English.
