Head of Non-Flow Credit Sales UK
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Credit Sales (UK) to lead our non-flow credit sales platform, with a focus on structured credit, CLOs, ABS, asset-backed financing, and fund finance distribution. The ideal candidate will bring a strong leadership presence, deep client relationships across hedge funds and asset managers, and a clear vision for growing the UK franchise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the UK non-flow credit sales team, including:
- 4-5 sales professionals in alternative credit
- 2-3 sales professionals in fund financing distribution
- Drive origination and distribution of structured credit products, including CLOs, ABS, and bespoke asset-backed solutions.
- Expand and deepen relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, and alternative investors.
- Collaborate with structuring, trading, and syndicate teams to deliver tailored financing and investment solutions.
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the UK credit sales platform.
- Represent the desk in senior management forums and contribute to global credit strategy.
- Mentor and develop junior talent, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in credit sales, with a focus on non-flow and structured products.
- Proven leadership experience and ability to manage high-performing teams.
- Strong client network across hedge funds and institutional asset managers in the UK.
- Deep product knowledge in CLOs, ABS, fund finance, and structured credit.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of revenue generation and platform development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
