A leading physical commodities trading house is seeking an experienced trader to join their North American team. A successful candidate would report directly to President & CEO, and would be based in Toronto.

Physical trading experience is essential, covering corn wheat, soybean, soybean meal and barley, preferably with established and commercially utilised contacts. Experience in utilising futures and hedging in order to minimise risk would also be preferable.


Responsibilities for Senior Trader, International Soft Commodity Trading, North America
Salary: Highly Competitive, (Grain, Corn, Wheat, Soybean, Meal, Barley, Soft, Agri, Trading, North America, Canada, Toronto):

- Establishing trading book across physical soft commodities, and supporting group President & CEO
- Both physical trading, together with futures and hedging overlay
- Maintaining P&L & book cash flow
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, including travel when necessary

Skills required Senior Trader, International Soft Commodity Trading, North America
Salary: Highly Competitive, (Grain, Corn, Wheat, Soybean, Meal, Barley, Soft, Agri, Trading, North America, Canada, Toronto):

- At least 7 years experience in soft commodities trading, with an established book of clients which can be utilised commercially
- Able to demonstrate consistent track record
- Be willing to be based in Toronto
- Exposure across global commodity markets

This role would ideally suit candidates with experience managing a physical soft commodities book, together with a solid understanding of futures and hedging tools.
