My leading hedge fund manager based in Singapore who are fast becoming best known for their outstanding commitment to cutting-edge technology and fantastic product performance . The firm is home to a number of very forward thinking technology systems and platforms. Since its formation just over 10 years back my client has grown at an outstanding rate and thus is now looking to bring on board an exceptional C++/Python/Functional Programming Software Developer to take a business critical role in the team. The successful candidate will join a small but very dynamic group of developers, bringing highly technical knowledge to the team that enables them to contribute in all phases of a product`s life cycle from initial design/concept to its final implementation. The C++/Python/Functional Programming Software Developer will join a small team of developers and look to drive a number of development initiatives forward, having a key input in designing and developing aspects of the high-frequency trading system across multiple asset classes. Being in such a smaller team of developers, the exceptional developer will be integral to all dimensions of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and will report directly to the senior partners in Asia, thus, gaining unbeatable exposure to the business side of the firm in addition to the global markets.
C++/Python/Functional Programming Software Developer - Leading Hedge Fund Manager, Singapore, Asia requires the following skill-set;
- Exceptional C++ programming skills
- Python
- Functional programming in Haskell/F# etc
- STL/Boost
- Multithreaded/Low Latency/Real-time systems and programming
- Solid architectural knowledge
- Analytical/Problem-solving
- Design and implementation
- Hands-on and self-motivated
- MSc/PhD (e.g. Computer Science/Electrical Engineering etc) - Top Level University
Responsibilities for C++/Python/Functional Programming Software Developer - Leading Hedge Fund Manager, Singapore, Asia;
- Participation in all aspects of SDLC
- Sharp & Bright - Ability to adapt to market activity quickly and implement appropriate initiatives
- Strong architectural knowledge for scalability/availability/consistency, detailed design
- Deployment and ongoing maintenance, support and continual enhancement
- Desire to work in High Frequency Field
- Report to Senior Partners/Head Traders
