A globally renowned Asset Managers in Vienna are currently searching for a Senior investor relations analyst to focus on Global equities. The Asset managers which $85billion AUM are now looking to add to their highly successful team. The ideal candidate should come from a fundamental equity background. The equities previously covered should be predominantly from developed equities however emerging market candidates will be considered. This role demands strong relationship building skills as you will be mixing with both senior portfolio managers inside the firm and across Switzerland. You will also be responsible for speaking with the wider financial community, whether that be financial press, journalists, other investor relation managers or CEO of hedge funds. This globally established firm is looking for someone to continue their success within the equity investments team and also work across the investor relations team. The focus of your work will be to connect the investor relations team with the buyside analysts. You will represents the firm in buy-side analyst and investor meetings (including road shows) and acts as point of contact for sell-side investment analysts. You will be in charge of all presentations of the firm to the financial community in one-on-ones, small group meetings, road shows and conference calls. A responsibility to maintain an excellent relationship with clients is essential. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, an ability to work well in a team and strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly express their thoughts.
Specific Responsibilities include -
- Over 4 years Equity sell side experience - A proven track record of successful research and communication of ideas. - An entrepreneurial personality and examples of how they have made investments that have defied common norms - Solely responsible for the English version of all financial reports and releases. - Develop presentations, wordings and internal briefings in response to the interest and demands of the financial community. Development of and responsibility for wordings/statements on current issues adhering to the Fund`s ?one-voice-policy?. - Responsibility for parts of the Q&A for Quarterly and FY results, as well as special projects Q&A`s (such as acquisitions, capital increases), ensuring that they are aligned with company strategy. - Participation in and management of confidential ad hoc projects such as the communication of acquisitions/disposals, equity capital raising and funding programs as well as debt issuances. - Strong communication skills and substantial experience managing a team. - Manage/oversee the transition of new portfolios from start to finish. - Basic German language skills needed
