A globally renowned hedge fund in London is looking to take on an EMEA emerging market Analsyst to assist the funds PM. The role is pen to someone who is looking to move into a PM position within a year.
The firm has several different funds covering global emerging markets. The primary focus will be on Eastern Europe and North Africa but coverage of Asia is also welcome. The role is highly attractive due to the career progression opportunities. The analyst will be reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager and have a seat on the investment committee. If you are confident and outgoing then you will fit well into this vibrant team.
Day to Day responsibilities -
- Building and maintaining detailed bottom up company models based upon fundamental analysts.
- Prepare and conduct fundamental research on emerging market equities with a focus on financial equities
- Develop relationships with industry contacts, brokers and analysts
Requirements -
- Several years of EMEA experience either on the sell side
- Preferably long short experience but long only is also welcome
- Preferably buy side experience
- Excellent research, presentation and communication skills
