Other Services

Advertising

We have extensive advertising within the financial sector, including several specialist websites. We also have close link with a number of the universities in the UK, Europe and the US and advertise directly with them.  This enables us to attract the majority of serious existing job seekers, as well as those candidates for difficult to source/niche vacancies.  A number of these candidates are registered exclusively with Selby Jennings. We also receive applicants through recommendations from these candidates. Our main advertising partnerships are with Albourne Village, bloomberg.com, cityjobs.com, jobserve.com, maths-fi.com, numa.com, quantnotes.com, totallyfinancial.com, hedgeweek.com, hedgefundcenter.com, canarywharfjobs.com, efinancialcareers.com and wilmott.com

Campaign Advertising

This is largely instigated at the client’s request for high volume and niche positions. Once we have a full understanding of our client’s requirements we will present our recommended approach. On client approval this approach we will then be implemented, with our advertising knowledge used to negotiate preferential rates. Following this all response handling, interviewing, short-listing, testing and reporting will be undertaken by Selby Jennings

Diversity

Information is currently provided for any clients who request such a service to enable them to effectively monitor diversity in the work place. This can be provided on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis or specified on every application. Our database currently enables us to capture this information, but we are currently in the process of implementing new software to combine with our existing database, which will enable this data capture to be automated

Management Information

Various reports are available to all our clients to make the recruitment process more transparent including Status Reports, Financial Reports diversity and Ratio Reports

Market Advice

Selby Jennings where possible will provide advice into benefit packages, salary bandings and general market commentary, media evaluation and overall market trends upon the client’s request. This standard research is always initiated before any requirement is undertaken

Open Days

Open days are conducted to meet the demands for urgent, large volume or difficult to source requirements. Selby Jennings will work in partnership with the client to ensure this is the best solution initially. There is no restriction on the size or technical requirement that can be undertaken with the whole process from advertising, sourcing and pre-screening, to organising and de-briefing after the event all being arranged by Selby Jennings. This saves on time and resources being used to interview potential candidates

Service Level Agreements

By implementing and reviewing an exact outline of the agreed working terms between Selby Jennings and our clients we are able to guarantee the process will be completed to the highest standards. These are reviewed on an ongoing basis to enable us to improve the level of service we are providing which in turn will increase productivity and in turn cost savings for our clients
