We undertake contingent searches on behalf of clients, helping to identify, qualify and present a specific selection of candidates suitable for the given mandate.

Our approach to this service is to combine both contingency and search recruitment, providing the flexibility of a contingency recruitment service with the structured approach of a search entity. Within contingent search we operate two main services:

Responsive Contingent
This is a fast and effective model that allows clients to maximise exposure to active candidates in the market. To utilise one of the biggest advertising budgets in the industry, as well as the internal data warehouse, is an ideal approach for tight deadlines and non niche vacancies.

Comprehensive Search
This search is suited for more senior or niche roles where a thorough evaluation of available talent is required. In addition to the services mentioned above, a comprehensive search will also utilise a combination of relevant CV database technology, the Selby Jennings Solutions Candidate Hub network, and the internal Talent Source search facility.
