My client, a leading financial institution is looking to recruit an experienced carbon trader/portfolio manager to assist in the growth of their emissions business….My client, a leading financial institution is looking to recruit an experienced carbon trader/portfolio manager to assist in the growth of their emissions business. The role will involve trading a range of carbon products on a global scale and developing the business into new markets. You will be required to identify, develop, negotiate and execute transactions, identify potential partnerships and implement cost effective hedging strategies. The ideal candidate for the role will:

- Have an excellent and proven knowledge of the emissions/renewables market

- Have a background in carbon trading/origination

- Be able to demonstrate a proven track record in contract negotiation and restructuring

- Be of a minimum of senior associate level in terms of experience
