Commodity analyst / Economist for Hedge fund : London
In Current Vacancies, Strategy JobsA hedge fund in London is looking to add to their team in London. This is a macro hedge, looking for directional trading opportunities across asset classes. The ideal candidate will have experience in a range of commodities from base metals, Energy, Precious Metals and Agricultural Commodities, Carbon Emissions and Uranium etc. In time you will be able to specialize in an area of commodities once you have grown this team around you however to secure this role you must be able to demonstrate that you can work on what ever is hot in the market at that point. The fund have a historical focus on fixed income and FX, primarily G10 but are also involved in major EM markets. This is an exciting opportunity to join an already successful hedge fund who have not only generated strong returns the last two years but are still continuing to grow rapidly, therefore giving you the chance to build up the commodities team. There is also active headcount for a G10 Strategist and a EM Strategist within the same fund.
