The ability to recognise a common design pattern that will solve a problem, recognise the consequences and trade-offs of using it and applying it when appropriate. Essential skills include strong communication both verbal and written and with the ability to lead a team members. The successful candidate will have excellent C# skills and be able to design and develop multi-threaded Windows Forms client GUI with Java- including J2EE. A fundamental understanding of derivatives preferably equity derivatives is a plus as these skills will be significantly used throughout the role.
