MIDDLE OFFICE C++ Developer/Analyst : NEW YORK
In Current Vacancies, Development JobsAs a lead C++ Developer you will join a leading team of architects where you will become responsible for developing and analyzing flagship real-time financial models.
You will:
• drive the design and construction of innovative technology solutions and take ownership for the technical integrity of the solution
• be working within the FI, Fixed Income team
• identify and address architectural challenges and enhance the current product range
• contribute throughout the development lifecycle; from conceptualizing through to implementing ideas
• be working in a high paced atmosphere liaising between Front Office Traders and Middle Office Quants
• must have a hunger and a desire to progress within the financial sector
The ideal profile for this position will:
• Have a Masters or PhD background within Computer Science/Engineering or Mathematics
• Be an architect who continually strives to create software of the highest possible quality in regards to performance, reliability and maintainability
• Have a strong quantitative background; have a mathematical aptitude
• Be prepared to go the extra mile,
• Be hungry to succeed
• Have extensive design experience within the financial sector with modeling and be able to evaluate design alternatives
• Be self managing, responsible and willing to take leadership – you will also be willing to contribute at a broader level than your immediate task
Your technical background will be:
• Skilled C++/C developer with between 1-2 years experience
• Be familiar with Pricing Models
• Have extensive experience with coding
• Be mathematically minded
