Trader – Precious Metals Trader

A position has become available within a leading investment bank for a highly driven and experienced precious metals trader to be based in London. Candidates , with particular exposure to the spot and forward markets.

Responsibilities for Precious Metals Trader, London, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Precious Metals, Metals, Derivatives, Spot, Forwards, London, Trader) role:

• Trading of precious metals spot, forwards and options to produce positive PNL
• Manage trading portfolio covering all precious metals, gold, silver and PGM
• Market-making and proprietary trading to maximize commercial gain
• Maintain list of clients and trading counterparties within the precious metals market

Skills / Attributes required for Precious Metals Trader, London, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Precious Metals, Metals, Derivatives, Spot, Forwards, London, Trader) role:

• Vice-President to Director level
• Experience trading across the precious metals market
• Spot and forwards experience essential, ideally with some options exposure
• Ideally a track record in both making markets and proprietary trading
• Be highly driven and entrepreneurial in nature
• Be willing to be based in London
