They are currently looking to expand their…My client is a major energy trading house and has an increasingly expanding operation within global commodity markets. They are currently looking to expand their operation in a range of areas, with the priority being a physical fuel oil trader for the Amsterdam office. They are ideally looking for candidates with a varied exposure to trading fuel oil on the European markets with over 5 years

Within this role your responsibilities will include:

- Physical trading Fuel on the international markets, with a focus on the European markets.

- Expanding the current client base within the European Fuel market.

- Provide support to business development and marketing teams, as well as being prepared to play a major role in the expansion and direction of the team.

Successful candidates for this role will:

- Have five years plus experience trading fuel oil..

- Ideally have a range of established clients within the fuel oil space, mostly on the corporate side, and a range of trading strategies.

- Have Physical experience trading

- Be preferably based in Europe, and have knowledge of the European Markets.

This opportunity offers a senior fuel oil trader a position on a diverse and talented trading team based in Amsterdam. Successful candidates for the position will have established contacts in the industry, as well as a proven track record trading physical fuel oil on international markets, and have the motivation to grow and shape their own team within the company.
