Trader -Gas Trader

My client is a global leading energy trading house who has an increasingly expanding operation within global commodity markets. They are currently looking to expand f areas, with the priority being a continental and UK gas trader for the Dusseldorf office. They are ideally looking for candidates with over three years exposure to trading physical gas on the continental and UK markets, and someone who has considerable trading experience in the gas space.

Within this role your responsibilities will include:

• Trading physical gas on the UK and Continental markets within a talented trading team.
• Liaise with global offices to ensure smooth flowing operations.
• Acting as a focal point for relationship strategies and issues.
• Play a key role in the expansion of the Gas team in Dusseldorf.
• Expand and develop current client base in the gas space in the continental and UK gas markets.
• Develop into a senior trader within the team.

Successful candidates for this role will:

• Have at three years plus experience trading physical gas.
• Have excellent contacts and knowledge of the continental and UK gas markets.
• Preferably be based in Europe, and have an established client book.
• Have a transferrable client base.
• Willing to play a major role in the expansion of the Dusseldorf office, and is motivated to develop into a senior trader.
