A large commodity trade house currently has a slot available within their established metals trading operation to work within the base metals space and support f talented traders in a number of aspects involving the day to day processes involved in a successful commodity trading team. Candidates should have exposure to the metals trading arena and be looking to develop their career further in this sector.

Responsibilities for Base Metals Trade Support, New York, Salary: $70-90k, (Base Metals, Trade Assistant, Physical, Aluminium, New York, Trading) role:

• Supporting a team of traders covering both physical and financial base metal trades, particularly within aluminum markets
• Inputting of trades and involvement in risk management
• Liaising with operations and shipping counter-parties
• Handling of financial documentation
• Provide support to business development teams

Skills / Attributes required for Base Metals Trade Support, New York, Salary: $70-90k, (Base Metals, Trade Assistant, Physical, Aluminium, New York, Trading) role:

• Analyst to Associate level experience in the metals trading space
• Exposure to a metals trading environment
