Structuring and Origination/ Hedge Fund Sales
My client, a top boutique investment bank, are looking to make the hire of a Director for their Origination & Structuring (Alternative Investment Solutions) team London focused on EMEA clients. This client is expanding both in New York and London and offers massive opportunities for candidates:
The Role:
- This role will target hedge funds, CTAs and investors into alternative strategies via managed accounts
- You will oversee the Origination and Structuring efforts targeting these clients in EMEA, providing support and guidance to the team located in London & Paris
- You will lead the team to develop prime brokerage and sales. Analyze and assess relevant portfolio elements: execution and clearing solutions, settlement and custody, cross margining and financing, and risk management and reporting; provide structuring and pricing guidance both internally and externally
- This is a senior London based hire and you will be working both in a producing role but also taking management responsibilities
- Role sits within the Prime Brokerage/ Hedge Fund sales department and incorporates origination/ structuring/ sales and marketing
The Candidate:
- Candidates should have prime brokerage experience or hedge fund/ asset management sales experience
- You will develop DMA execution mandates to the target client segment.
- Using you experience/insight – you will be required to give recommendations/share your business ideas regarding market trends – identifying opportunities for new products and for those which will best meet the needs of existing/new clients.
- Will be essential to have an analytical awareness of the following relevant portfolio elements: settlement and custody, execution and clearing solutions, cross margining and financing and risk management/reporting
- Track record in Structuring/ Product Management/ Marketing across equity and hedge fund products is important. Good extensive client list/ relationships and experience with prime brokerage advantageous
