Junior economist

One of the leading Investment banks is offering you the opportunity to work directly with one of the most well regarded China focused economists in . You will be based in Hong Kong within the Asia economics team and have responsibility for Macro economics research on the China region.

This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with and be trained as the number 2 to the current China economist.

Please note that this is a junior position therefore applicants should have a masters or PHD from a leading school plus some internship experience or 1-2 years economic research experience.

All applicants must have:-

• Excellent Written and oral communication skills in Both English and Mandarin.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with economic data
• Experience in writing solid economic forecasts or reports.
• An MSC+ some work experience or PHD – from leading schools.

Ideally candidates should already be based in the Asian region.
