Dollar Block FX Strategist

A investment bank in Asia are currently adding to their trading dealing room in Singapore. Within this role you will be primarily covering the Dollar This role is also closely linked with the Asia Pacific Strategy group where you will assist in coverage of Australian markets macro strategy.

This is primarily a strategy based role. You will be expected to release weekly and quarterly publications however your primary responsibilities will include providing analysis to traders and interacting with private clients.
Based upon this, this role would be suitable for a journalist/Policy analyst with a strong knowledge of Economics and FX, particularly in the area of Dollar block currencies- specially experience in Australian markets.

Applicants must have knowledge of :-

• central banking policy
• English Language- Spoken and written
• Dollar block currencies
• Economics and the Asian region.

This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking for a role where you will be able to work on ad-hoc publications, and significant current topics. You will be working in a team of 6 and be sat directly with the traders. Applicants should already be based in Singapore as the manager is looking to make a hire quickly.
