Business strategy Analyst

A leading Investment Banking firm are looking for a business strategy analyst to add to their restructuring team in Tanzania. rnYou will be working directly
You will be working directly with one of their portfolio companies assisting in the operation, restructure and turnaround of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the CEO/ CFO of the portfolio companies with key issues, including optimising the Finance function, building structure around Finance function and linking the Finance function with corporate strategy.
• Assisting in business planing / strategy sessions by performing analytical tasks to support the sessions
• Preparing and running financial models as part of the business planning sessions.
• Preparing materials for board meetings.
• Assist CFO in presentating Company results, forecasts and future plans to Board of Directors and investors.
• Performing financial assessments to support the development of new business processes and architecture.
• Gathering and documenting Company`s current business processes, people and technology capabilities and requirements.
• Designing, developing and delivering new business processes, capabilities, supporting technologies and structures.

In order to apply for the role you should have :-

• Strong and demonstrable analytical skills in an Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Private Equity or Consulting environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and an aptitude for analysis.

The ideal candidate will have Advanced degree (e.g. MBA) and currently be consulting.
