Small Talk Developer

Tier 1 Investment bank known for their pioneering approach and global remit are seeking a highly ambitious and exceptionally educated Small Talk Developer to work . Significant growth in the derivatives area has lead to huge investment in the team and its infrastructure, where the Small talk developer will be constantly interacting with senior colleagues and other front office colleagues on a day to day basis. The Java Developer will be required to work within a high pressured, fast paced environment that wants to engage with all aspects of the business. A highly skilled Small Talk Developer who can demonstrate their leadership ability and take the team forward is of vital importance.

The successful Small Talk Developer will have experience in:

Small Talk
Java
C++
Object Orientated design
Front office experience
Derivatives knowledge (preferable)

Responsibilities for Small Talk Developer:

This is an exciting Greenfield project, starting from scratch to develop a next generation Front Office risk management.
Develop functionality and scripts using Smalltalk
Working with the test team to ensure smooth delivery of new products

Independent self-starter with
Good oral and written communication skills.
Multitask and work effectively under pressure to deadlines.
