Senior Fund Raiser

My client, a leading independent investment firm focused on investments in European and North American infrastructure, is looking to add a senior fund raiser to London. The company currently manage in excess of $1 billion in infrastructure investments on behalf of a range of pension funds and institutional investors. The firm are actively looking to expand their team with a few hires as they are enter a strong growth phase and are seeking an experienced fund raiser to join them with experience of raising assets for infrastructure funds from UK and European investors. The main responsibilities of the role will include:

• Identifying and targeting potential new investors from an institutional client base across the UK and Europe
• Establishing and having overall responsibility for fund raising, brand image, media, investor relations, marketing materials, websites, etc
• Regular travel throughout the UK and Europe to attend roadshows and events that will further help to establish the brand
• Building extensive databases of investors, mandates and key contacts
• Working closely alongside the Senior Partners in developing a consistent and streamlined fund raising strategy across the business

This vacancy offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join a leading independent infrastructure firm in a senior fund raising position. The suitable candidate for this role will likely have at least five to seven years of fund raising experience within the infrastructure space. The candidate should also possess an extensive network of institutional contacts across the UK and Europe and have a deep knowledge of the market in the region. The candidate will be offered a highly competitive package commensurate with experience.
