The therefore requires an excellent grasp of the fundamental price setting mechanisms, and global metals markets. This is a senior level position, so previous experience as head of a team or in a senior position is essential.

To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate that you have experience:-

-Performing fundamental research on precious metals and base metals utilising different tools

-Serving as a desk analyst providing trade ideas and strategy to commodities desk in addition to corporate and institutional clients.

-Research offering includes external distributed research as well as internal desk analysis for Sales and Trading. Responsibility includes taking the lead on forming trade ideas and strategy.

This role will offer you the opportunity to move into an extremely strong organization that successfully trade an entire range of commodities and have a proven record of success in Base metals and Precious metals. You should expect to be working in a highly commercial organization and should be able to adapt quickly to the fast paced trading floor environment.

This is a successful Bank therefore bonus and base salary offered will be extremely competitive. The level of the hire depends upon you competency in interview.
