The bank has an excellent reputation in global commodity markets and is seeking a candidate to sell a portfolio of soft and agricultural derivatives to corporate clients across the US.

Responsibilities for Soft Commodity and Agricultural Salesperson, New York, Salary: $100-150k (Soft Commodity, Agricultural, Derivative, Sales) role:

  • Marketing a portfolio of soft commodity and agricultural derivatives, including grains, wheat, soybean, coffee and sugar
  • Building and developing relationships with a wide ranging set up clients in the US markets, mostly the large corporate producers
  • Running a profitable book of business dealing within the agricultural space
  • Provide support to business development and trading teams

Skills / Attributes required for Soft Commodity and Agricultural Salesperson, New York, Salary: $100-150k (Soft Commodity, Agricultural, Derivative, Sales) role:

  • Associate to Vice-President level in terms of experience selling and marketing commodity products
  • Ideally have sold a broad range of agricultural products
  • Possess excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • Have some established relationships or contacts within the US soft commodity markets
  • Be willing to be based in New York
