Investment Consultant
My client, a leading boutique macro hedge fund manager, are seeking an Investment Consultant to join their team in London. The firm are a recognised within the alternatives space and are currently managing circa $1 billion in AUM. They are looking to take on a candidate from a consultancy background with strong links to pension funds to sell the company`s systematic strategies too. The main responsibilities will include:
- Building and developing relationships with institutional clients across the UK and Europe, with a focus on the pension fund sector
- Meeting and discussing with potential investors to discuss the firm`s range of funds
- Working closely with sales colleagues to ensure in co-ordinated business development efforts across the UK and Europe
- Regular travel throughout the UK and Europe
- Developing an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the company`s range of systematic strategies
This vacancy offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join a recognised boutique hedge fund manager in a sales focused role. The company have enjoyed phenomenal success in recent years and are looking to bring on a candidate who can continue to build on this success. The candidate will likely come from a strong consultancy background, ideally with one of the large investment consultancies and have a good understanding of the hedge fund space. Strong ties with pension funds across the UK and Europe are essential.
