European Hedge Fund Sales (Event Driven)

My client, a leading boutique alternatives asset manager with a focus on event-driven investing, is seeking a senior European sales person to join their team London. Since their conception, the firm has enjoyed a large amount of success which has seen their assets under management rise considerably. They are now looking to add their first marketer to the team and seek a candidate with extensive European business development experience along with a thorough knowledge and understanding of the hedge fund space. The main responsibilities of the role include:

• Identifying and targeting potential new investors from an institutional client base across the UK and Europe
• Developing and enhancing relationships with key clients to ensure continued investments in the business
• Working closely with senior staff in co-ordinating the business development efforts to European clients
• Regular travel throughout the UK and Europe

This is an exciting opportunity to join a recognised boutique hedge fund manager in a senior European sales focused role. The ideal candidate for this role will likely come from an event driven fund manager and have at least five to seven years of institutional sales experience along with a transferrable book of clients.
