Our client is a leading international investment bank with a first class reputation in commodity markets worldwide. They are seeking a highly-driven salesperson ideally with an established client base in Asia to join the bank and develop their career with the firm.
Responsibilities for Commodity Salesperson, Singapore, Salary: 200-250k SGD, (Commodity, Energy, Derivatives, Sales) role:
- Selling commodity derivatives to maximize generated revenue across Asia
- Marketing mostly energy products, with a focus on oil, but also covering all commodity areas
- Working with both corporate and institutional clients across Asia, with the focus on the Greater China region
- Provide support to business development and trading teams
Skills / Attributes required for Commodity Salesperson, Singapore, Salary: 200-250k SGD, (Commodity, Energy, Derivatives, Sales) role:
- Associate to Vice-President level in terms of experience marketing commodity derivatives
- Experience selling a diverse range of commodity products, on the derivatives side, although ideally focused within the energy space
- Have some established relationships or contacts within the Asian commodity markets
– As a bonus, have some Asian language capabilities, ideally Mandarin
- Be willing to be based in Singapore
