Equity Capital Markets Origination/Syndication

My client, a top tier US investment bank are looking to bring on board an Executive Director to their market leading ECM team in Hong Kong. This will be a senior origination/syndication position with leadership responsibilities covering the Asia Pacific/specifically North East Asia and Mainland Chinese markets.

Responsibilities:

• You will be required to identify marketing propositions within the equity capital markets domain and give advice on market conditions/possible transactions
• Will be responsible for originating new business across Hong Kong, Greater China and North Asia for corporate and financial institution clients. You will be working across: IPOs, Secondary Placements, Rights Issues and equity-linked (to a slightly lesser extent).
• Must liaise with all key figures throughout the process of the ECM transactions. Will have some involvement with the syndications and sales teams.
• Candidates must be business fluent in both English and Mandarin and have relevant ECM origination/syndication experience from another investment bank. A knowledge of the Asia Pacific markets is essential.
