ECM Origination/ Syndicate
My client a leading Asian investment bank is offering a superb opportunity for any talented ECM/ syndicate bankers in Asia. This bank are committing heavy quity platform in Hong Kong supported by origination/ sales/ trading and research. My client a leading Managing Director is looking for two Analysts, one Associate and one Vice President level candidate to join immediately.
Responsibilities:
- You will be required to identify marketing propositions within the equity capital markets domain and give advice on market conditions/possible transactions
- Dependent on seniority, you will work closely with the new head of ECM Asia to construct and develop this Equity business in Asia
- Responsibilities will include originating new business across Hong Kong, Greater China and North Asia for corporate and financial institution clients and networking to develop a strong client base. You will be involved in the origination of all equity products- IPOs, Secondary Placements, Rights Issues and equity convertible bonds
- Must liaise with all key figures throughout the process of the ECM transactions including senior board level/ CEOs. Close involvement with the research team/ syndication/execution and sales teams
The Candidate
- Candidates must be business fluent in both English and Mandarin and have relevant ECM origination/syndication experience from another investment bank. A knowledge of the Asia Pacific markets is essential
- High preference for candidates already working in Hong Kong or Singapore due to the urgency of the hire
- My client is looking to hire a seasoned ECM professional with experience across origination/ sales/ syndication and investment banking
- If you are a VP/Director level candidate you would need a strong track record in Asian Equity deals and a list of closed transactions
- If you are a more junior Analyst/ Associate my client is looking for strong academics/ junior level experience in equities/ investment banking- high preference for ECM/ syndicate experience
