Director / Relationship Management and Origination

My client, a renowned London based financial institution, is looking to recruit a senior relationship manager from a UK corporate broking or ECM/DCM origination background . In this position you will be responsible for managing relationships with large companies (both private and FTSE100), top investment banks and advisory firms. In this role you will have the unique opportunity to build a portfolio of board level relationships with some of the UK`s largest companies and banks. You will be responsible for managing existing relationships, understanding the business needs of your clients and contribute to the development of the firms product and service offering. You will also be responsible for speaking at events, seminars and media communications.
The successful candidate for this position will likely demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

• A significant track record and reputation in investment banking / corporate finance or other capital markets experience
• A demonstrable track record of originating and winning new business
• Experience of developing and maintaining board level corporate relationships
• A strong existing network of relationships with senior contacts in key advisory firms and investment banks
• Experience of strategy and business management
• Demonstrates the knowledge and expertise to have credibility with senior management and peers
