Murex Support Analyst

A leading global investment banks are actively seeking a highly skilled murex support analyst to join their Corporate Technology Department. The Murex BAU team support (2.11) ensuring that the application continues to provide full front-to-back functionality across all traded asset classes, including interest rate, equity, commodity, credit, FX and fixed income products. The main purpose of this murex support analyst role is to provide technical ability to the BAU team. This role will include diverse exposure to all levels of support and development in both technology based and user facing roles

Responsibilities for the Murex Support Analyst – (Murex 2.11, Unix, Sybase, SQL) – LONDON

• Provide BAU support and analysis to the business on day-to-day Murex
• Participation in a shift based rota system covering support 07:00 – 19:00
• Support, modification and maintenance of overnight batch processes to ensure effective and timely output of key business deliverables
• Maintenance of infrastructure – troubleshooting environment problems and reviewing performance issues

• Good interpersonal skills to respond quickly, politely and effectively to users
• Ability to prioritise and deal with daily support tasks, alongside larger enhancements
