The successful candidate will support the ABS trading desk working with the traders…My client is seeking a strategist to join the Securitized Products desk. The successful candidate will support the ABS trading desk working with the traders on risk analysis, risk reporting, and value added trading strategies.

The Role:

• Creating and enchancing existing models and strategies working alongside trading desk to drive trading decisions.

• Collaborating with the traders and structurers on the design of new products.

The Candidate:

• A qualification in Mathematical finance, statistics, or Computer Science at PhD level is preferred.

• Strong computer skills are a core requirement C++, SAS, Matlab.

• Strong Communication skills essential

• Strong knowledge of financial analytics, statistics and market awareness.

• Experience in designing and implementing analytics which have gained widespread use on one or more trading desks.
