They will consider only the highest…My client is a Top Global Investment bank seeking a junior Economist to cover the UK and emerging markets. They will consider only the highest caliber candidates with a PHD in Economics from a top 5 university. This is an excellent opportunity to join a strong team of Economists with excellent chance for progression.

The role:

You will be carrying out research, concentrating mainly on the UK but including European Emerging Markets and will be analyzing macroeconomic and financial market developments. As such you should have a solid macro and econometrics background demonstrated through your PHD and experience in a Central banking or Investment banking environment. Those with internships will be considered.

You will be joining a well established team with chance to learn from some of the best Economists in the space and will be working closely with senior Economists on forecasting models and research. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior Economist looking to start their career in the financial sector and would be a excellent base for future progression.
