A leading Investment bank are looking for a head of European Fund management for their Asset management business in London.

This is an excellent opportunity…A leading Investment bank are looking for a head of European Fund management for their Asset management business in London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group managing over 70 funds in a newly created position.

The Asset management business is expanding rapidly at present with further plans throughout the year therefore this position is key to the business plan.

This is a senior role however the fund management responsibilities will very much be in a passive function.

Your responsibilities will include :-

- Managing the services provided by the company

- Providing on-going monitoring of the funds

- Working with Lawyers and regulators.

- Deciding upon the strategic position of the fund

- Co-ordinating with the fund managers, traders, structurers and portfolio engineers.

- Working as the face of the business, helping to sell the business.

You will be monitoring around 70 funds including structured product funds, asset algorithm funds, and discretionary funds.

Whilst those applicants with exposure to quantitative funds will be at an advantage this role will not include making strategic investment decisions. You will however have excellent exposure to funds and be the face of the business.

Ideal candidates will come from a COO, CRO or senior fund manager position.
