Senior US Fund Raiser

My client, a leading private equity firm in the infrastructure space with over $10 billion in assets under management, is seeking a senior fund raiser/business join their team in New York. The firm are one of the largest global investors in infrastructure with a long track record and a global network of institutional clients. They invest in a diversified portfolio of global infrastructure assets including transport, energy, water distribution and waste treatment sectors. As a senior fund raiser/business developer, the candidate will be responsible for raising assets for the company`s infrastructure funds from institutional clients across North America. The main responsibilities of the role will include:

Identifying and targeting potential new investors from an institutional client base across North America
Establishing and having overall responsibility for fund raising, brand image, media, investor relations, marketing materials, websites, etc
Regular travel throughout the US and Canada to attend roadshows and events that will further help to establish the brand
Building extensive databases of investors, mandates and key contacts
Working closely alongside the Director, Business Development to ensure a co-ordinated business development effort across North America

This vacancy offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join a global infrastructure firm in a senior fund raising position. The suitable candidate for this role will likely have at least seven years of fund raising experience within the infrastructure space, ideally within a similar sized firm. The candidate should also possess an extensive network of institutional contacts across North America and have a deep knowledge of the market in the region. The candidate will be offered a highly competitive package commensurate with experience.
