Private Equity – Business Analyst

A leading Global Private Equity firm is looking to add to one of their portfolio companies in Tanzania. rnYou will be working directly within the
You will be working directly within the firm assisting on its build out to IPO stage.

Your responsibilities will include:
– Supporting the CEO and CFO on all major decisions of the Company (including capital allocation for trading activities, capital expenditures, mergers & acquisitions, business-development, and corporate and business-unit strategy) by providing excellent analysis (quantitative and qualitative) and synthesis/recommendations
– Assisting in the development of the Company`s annual business plans and budgets
– Preparing financial models to support business planning
– Preparing materials for board meetings
– Developing strong decision-support systems
– Assisting CFO in presenting Company results, forecasts and future plans to Board of Directors and investors.

In order to apply you should:-

• Have an undergraduate degree in business, economics, or other quantitatively intense field; MBA or other analytical graduate degree preferable
• 3-5 years of professional work experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy
• Experience in developed markets (preferably U.S. or Europe), as well as significant experience in emerging markets (preferably Africa)
