Business change/restructuring opportunity

Within this role you will be responsible for representing one of the companies prime investors, driving through business change and restructure to hit corporate objectives .
This opportunity would suit an individual coming from an advisory or consulting background looking for move to a principal investments environment where you will create a tangible track record of business performance and improvement. Working directly with the board and on behalf of the investment company, you will lead the analysis, inception and implementation of key change and restructure initiatives, with a view to increasing shareholder value and exit strategy.
Candidates interested in pursuing an investments/private equity position in future will be well placed within this position and be able to gain the experience required
Applications need to possess a high degree of drive and commercial acumen.

The firm
You will be working for a highly successful portfolio company in a leadership position which will provide you with the skills to move into the investing side.
In this position you will effectively drive the key analysis for the company and take it from its current form to a list-able business.
This is not the first time the private equity firm have approached a project such as this, they have an extremely successful track record with one of their latest successes being the IPO of a small East African firm which is now a multi-billion dollar company.

Required skills
The ideal candidate will have strategy consulting skills and be looking for a step up in terms of responsibility and something which will be able to can set you up for a Private Equity position going forwards.
You should be prepared to take a small business multibillion dollar company level in a couple of years. You will be involved in every step of the journey from driving strategy to driving the debt and equity raising as well as IPO process.
