Equities – Senior Fund of Funds Portfolio Analyst

A leading organisation are currently looking for a Senior Hedge Fund Analyst at vice president level for its Fund of Funds Portfolio. The successful candidate be looking for a senior opportunity with tier 1 bank or top performing fund background. Imperative languages skills include a fluency in German, English, French and preferably Spanish.

The person will work in a small team within the Fund Research, fund related Portfolio Management & Advisory department and will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with several external providers in the areas of asset allocation and investment manager selection.

Key responsibilities and previous experience will include:

• Fund Selection
• Monitoring of recommended funds
• Meetings with representatives from asset management firms and fund
• managers to exchange ideas
• Build and present investment cases, produce fund related research and
• articles for various publications
• Presentations in weekly internal investment meeting
• Subject matter expert in client meetings regarding funds
• Improvements of fund selection and monitoring process
• Extensive support for relationship managers

Other requirements:

Numerous years experiences within fund research and specific skill sets in equities, hedge funds (including fund of hedge funds), possibly private equity – extensive hedge fund selection background
Fluency in English, German and French, and preferably Spanish
Excellent communication and business development skills
Be willing to travel and extensive client liaison
Senior and charismatic personality
Background in private client liaison advantageous
