An opening has become available in their New York offices for an Electrical Engineer to join the wind project development team. Responsibilities of the role include:

- Managing the grid connection and transmission relating to wind energy projects

- Dealing with mid-sized wind farms

- Relationship management of contacts including landowners, contractors, government contacts etc

- Wind project environmental risk assessment

Experience and qualifications required:

- Minimum 3 years` experience in wind farm project management/development

- BEng or equivalent level in electrical engineering from a top university

- Strong knowledge of grid connection and transmission issues within wind farm development & construction

- Passion for the wind industry in North America
