My client a top tier US investment bank has a critical replacement hire for a Director level hybrids capital originator and structurer of hybrid capital…My client a top tier US investment bank has a critical replacement hire for a Director level hybrids capital originator and structurer of hybrid capital transactions for banks/ insurance and corporates in Europe. My client is looking to hire a debt hybrids originator from a top DCM platform in the market. Responsibilities include:

- Marketing, structuring and execution of hybrid capital transactions for banks, insurance companies and corporates in Europe and EMEA

- Pushing hybrid capital, liability management and CB restructuring

- Advised clients on structuring debt issues with a focus on the impact on the capital structure

- Origination of structured fixed-income products for blue chip European financial institutions and corporates

- Originating structuring and executing hybrid capital, high yield, syndicated loans and structured DCM transactions for the bank across financial institutions, corporates & regional governments.

My client can only consider candidates with the following skills:

- This is a critical replacement hire and so my client can only consider debt specialists who focus on structuring/ originating and executing hybrid capital transactions

- Essential to have strong understanding of either equity-linked hybrid capital/ experience of working with hybrids/ evaluating investor interest and appetite for hybrids

- Essential to have relevant capital markets experience - possibly from DCM, hybrid capital, tax structuring - and proven transaction history to complement the group`s existing strong relationships to succeed in this role

- Important to understand key issues such as investment and non-investment grade EMEA based corporates issuing into the domestic and offshore markets/ marketing and pitching for mandates, pricing and negotiation of contracts
