The role will require firm visits and desk-top reviews, assessing credit portfolios` quality and risk dynamics and the effectiveness of a firm`s credit risk governance, processes and controls.
This role is ideal for someone who has been in the banking industry for a long time and wants to use their extensive knowledge in not on a regulatory capacity but also an advisory one too.

The Role

• Detailed and extensive understanding of credit risks within Financial Institutions, Counterparty Credit Risk, Risk Analysis, Sovereign and Knowledge of Hedge Funds would be desirable.
• Full understanding of the all different products being approved/used by the firms within the context of FI credit risk
• Good understanding of the implications of the use of hedging products and risks and implications thereof together with collateral requirements and issues
• Detailed understanding of the documentation used within the context of limit setting and credit risk analysis
• Approval discretion
• Good knowledge of rating agency methodologies

Ideal Candidate

• Very detailed and extensive understanding of credit risks as they pertain to the FI universe – (which will include a detailed knowledge of counterparty credit risk and analysis)
