European Business Development

My client is a leading financial institution seeking an experienced account executive to manage a portfolio of board-level relationships with small & mid-cap companies . In this role you will be required to network extensively in the European advisory and investor community, developing an understanding of client businesses and requirements. You will work alongside other business development managers participating in a range of events, presenting at seminars and conferences and liaising with the media. The focus of this role is on relationship building as opposed to being a product specific sales role. Key candidate requirements for this role are as follows:

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of primary markets/NIM
  • Experience in a relationship management / account management / business development
  • A demonstrable track record in establishing new relationships with senior executives
  • Be an experienced public speaker able to present to sophisticated audiences
  • Previous experience of media communications is desirable although not essential
  • Educated in a financial/business related discipline with a Professional Qualification
  • A European language is essential

This role requires an element of travel (25-30% of the time) within the EU to attend events etc. Candidates of most interest will have experience in investment banks, auditors, corporate finance etc with 5+ years of equity markets experience.
