Convertible Bonds Flow Trader

My client, a top global investment bank is currently seeking to make an addition to its Hong Kong based convertible bonds trading desk with a xperienced trader. The desk sits closer towards the equity side of the business, with a focus on client flow. The position would involve trading primarily on a flow but also to an extent on a prop basis, generating new business streams and continuing the expansion of the desk.

Responsibilities for Trading, Equity, Convertible Bonds, Flow, Asia, Hong Kong

• Improving the current flow of the desk through improving client relationships.
• Developing new trading tools.
• Improving the desks profitability.
• Trading across the Pan-Asian (either including or excluding Japan) markets.

Skills / Attributes for Trading, Equity, Convertible Bonds, Flow, Asia, Hong Kong

• Be of a senior level within a top global institution trading convertible bonds
• Excellent product knowledge within convertible bonds.
• Proven profitable trading history.
• Strong knowledge across the Asian markets.
• Based in, or prepared to relocate to Hong Kong.
