An opportunity has arisen for a solid C++ developer to join their front office equities desk in a role which will elevate them as one of the senior technologists on the team. You will take an instant impact on various development projects, working closely with the traders to develop innovative solutions using C++. Your business exposure will be huge and you will quickly be expected to be well versed in all financial terminology and this will in turn greatly improve and widen your skill set, as well as potential opportunity for progression.

The ideal C++ Developer will possess the following skills

Solid C++ programming experience
Linux/UNIX
Expert C++ skills. Practical experience of using C++ to build multi-threaded, low latency, real time applications
Knowledge of equities is advantageous
Fluency in spoken and written English
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills – should be able to describe examples of how these have been applied.
Capable of designing a system from scratch, making architectural decisions independently
Capable of meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure/multi-tasking
Strong sense of personal responsibility
Good team player. Capable of working under a fast pace and dynamic environment
